Wireless Directory Network, Inc. (WDN) was founded in Maine, USA, in 1999 with a focus in providing secure access, on a global scale, to DA services utilizing independent databases of both fixed line and mobile telephone numbers.

In 2006 WDN Europe was established to address the obstacle of non-inclusion of mobile numbers in most European DA databases. The solution, named ComNote®, will initially be launched in Spain at the beginning of 2007 and soon after will be introduced in other European markets.

The ComNote® solution will be offered through the traditional DA channel allowing users of 118xyz services the possibility of communicating with unpublished mobile subscribers via secure internal text messages.
